Something entertaining is brewing at the courthouse today with media and everything. Something to do with J Edwards and R Young … What I’m wondering is what we can do to divert some of the media and general traffic to all our cool local businesses! I’m thinking Ginna should decorate the heck out of an umbrella and stroll around the courthouse with flyers about Vespertine – Chris could casually walk around the courthouse eating something delicious looking and mention Virlie’s just up the street – Donna could drive around in one of those cool projects her kids make and toss out menus and pepperoni …. I’m wondering if we can get away with dressing Josie up in a toga and sending her over with a bunch of menus and baklava. You know, days like today are the perfect example of why I TOTALLY miss Beggars and Choosers …. I am having a pink wig emergency :::sigh::: If you have any brilliant ideas on how to divert some of these people into our little shops let us know.

Had the green chili beef stew soup for lunch and the lemon chicken soup for dinner. Both delicious. Saving the lentil soup for tomorrow’s lunch. And you’re closed tomorrow (besides I might get snowed in again) so I’ll have to cook or starve. What good stuff you prepare and so much of it is dairy free which I need. I’m so glad you’re here even if it is 9 miles each way.
