every day is a mini party around here ! today seems to be picking up speed with plenty of fabulous friends coming from all over north carolina to visit, eat and of course, PARTY! Green Chile Beef Stew – Smith Angus stew beef, Piedmont Biofarm and Rocky River green chile, veggies and homemade beef broth made a fabulous warm soup for this chilly day ($4)
Greek Chicken Soup (Avgolemono) – our homemade chicken broth and orzo soup finished with fresh lemon juice and local eggs ($3)
Green Chile Chicken Enchiladas - our homemade cheesy enchilada sauce smothered over tortilla wrapped chicken and baked till golden ($7.75)
LOCAL spinach Cheesy Bake – Rocky River Farm ROCKS … last night Will delivered a bunch of carrots and a HUGE pile of field spinach. It’s lovely and dark green and vibrant. Per request, I’ve whipped up some cheesy bake from this batch (but don’t worry, I’ll be steaming some upon request for the purists among us. ($5.75)
Pastichio – a greek lasagna with a layer of hollow noodles on the bottom, Cohen Farm ground beef in the middle and a decadent bechamel on top baked till golden ($7.75)
