looks like a little more winter coming our way … so everyone buck up and find someone who drives well in the stuff and let’s keep it moving : ) Our parsley party went well – we can thank Screech for growing the stuff and the fabulous Emerson and Forest for bringing the party! Today we will be using some of the parsley in a really good chicken tortilla soup. Also a great batch of tabouli (for those that need to stock up for the weekend) more kitchen news … i think we have the best egg stash we’ve had in a while. I’m not entirely sure what’s going on with our chatham county chickens, but several of our micro suppliers report some pretty awesome production. I simply can’t say no when a couple dozen totally free rang mindfully fed eggs come through the door! come by and tell us your favorite recipe with eggs and lets get these super nutritious eggs into everyone.

Josie’s Excellent Green Chile Chicken Enchiladas – homemade white enchilada sauce, chicken wrapped in flour tortillas, the whole dish smothered in cheese and baked till golden ($7.75)
Braised Rocky River Kale and Carrots – beautiful lacinato kale and sweet carrots braised in a light olive oil and tomato ($3 sm $5 lrg)
Local Lamb Pita Sandwich – Crider Farm lamb (a little left over from last night) nested in a grilled pita bread with your choice of three toppings ($7)
