yesterday was about as perfect a day as anyone could ask for. it started mellow and feeling good, we had a great flow of customers all day long, and it ended with a truckload of greens!!!!!you heard right … we’re serving up some of the most delicious beets and greens today, also offering a side salad that’s one of my all time favorites. We have lacinato kale and swiss chard lining up for tomorrow and early next week. i know it’s kinda nerdy to be so happy to see these beautiful veggies … oh well, nerdy is underrated if you ask me.

And today you can get them in your body and appreciate a serious benefit of living in this part of the triangle! gently dressed with a touch of salt and olive oil, ask for fresh lemon juice ($5)
Beet and Carrot Salad - one of my all time favorite salads (and think of the nutrition in all those awesome colors!) lightly steamed beets with shredded carrots, dressed with olive oil and lemon juice and topped with feta upon request ($5)
Pastichio – a classic greek winter baked dish, perfect for this cold weather spell. A layer of hollow noodles dressed with feta and local eggs, topped with Murray Cohen’s ground beef seasoned with cinnamon and tomato and topped with a decadent behcamel. ($8)
