Our First Anniversary Party was fabulous – you have to love a customer base that has readily available tiaras! Some noteworthy tiaras included Sharon ( a beautiful kitty available for adoption next door at Hill Creek Vet) sporting a teeny weeny tiara which earned $5 discounts for all our friends next door ! Jeremy, one of our favorite regulars, wore a “Farmer’s Tiara” that I believe Pam should consider carrying at Beggars and Choosers. It was a little green picket fence crown with a turkey wobbling in the “yard”. Of course the ever creative and imaginative Ginna had a hand in making that totally cool tiara. And of course the LOVE tiaras Link made for himself and his bride were beautiful using local honeysuckle branches. So many more moments to share, but it’s time to get busy in the back … so just get yourselves out here on Saturday for the part II party !! farmers will be selling their goods, The amazing cool SWANG BROTHERS will be playing and we’ll have lots of giveaways.

Cottage Pie – Murray and Esta Cohen’s ground beef, Rocky River carrots and onions make a great bed for this comfort casserole. Ground beef topped with mashed potatoes then baked till golden ($7.75) add a side salad for $3
Sauteed Rainbow Swiss Chard, Mizuna and Arugula – straight from Edible earthscapes lovely farm we have these greens that needed no help at all – just a light steam and into your mouth! ($5)

Judy Hogan’s Addictive Cakes – this week Judy has baked up Pumpkin, Apple and Gingerbread Cakes! We use all Lindley Mill flours and eggs from Judy’s farm. Some of the best cake I’ve ever tasted! ($2 slice $8.75 whole cake)
