Another lovely morning in the kitchen.  We have Josie, Kelly and Alan working away to make fun specials and of course keep everyone supplied with fresh, homemade regular items.  I of course am busy doing this stuff : )  plus later today I’m off to Sara Kane and her magic acupuncture that I now call voodoo awesome!  Between Sara’s acupuncture and Roxanne’s functional medicine and indispensable chiropractic adjustments I am a healthy happy child.

Beef Green Chile Stew – another fabulous batch of beef stew featuring Smith Angus farm stew meat, Piedmont Biofarm sneak up on you green chiles and lots of little veggies. ($4)

Alan’s Salisbury Steak - Murray Cohen’s ground beef and Alan’s ability to spice things up make a tasty southern comfort with onion gravy. ($6 served with a side of roasted potatoes)

Roasted Organic Chicken – local organic chickens doused in lemon juice and seasoned with greek spices. (see menu)

Green Beans Greco - Piedmont Biofarm green beans stewed in tomato with organic carrots, onions and olive oil. ($5)

later this afternoon …. Roasted leg of local lamb and Potato Leek Soup (we love having soup makers here!)

FROZEN YOGURT – our thick greek yogurt, Busy Bee Farm honey and …

Strawberry 72% dark choc chips

Blackberry (these berries came from Busy Bee Farm and are frigging amazing!)

Your string bean almondine was outstanding. I would like it once a week while the beans are growing. Was Alan responsible? Please send my thanks. The spinach was very, very tasty.
