Another month is starting and lots of great haps in the works!  We’ll start with a little teaser about our 1 Year Annivesary coming up next week !!  stay tuned as we iron out the details of the parties … we’ll do some great specials for wednesday the 10th and a large shing ding on saturday the 13th including music and farmers  – a party worthy of our fabulous fun county !!!!  Closer to the point – tonight don’t forget the “Raising The Roof” burrito bash at the general store cafe.  This night promises to be fun with a funky fashion show with some models that are sure to impress (tehehe)

In the meantime, news from the kitchen … Judy has outdone herself and hooked us up with some defrigginglicious : ) pumpkin cake!  the pumpkin comes from Beth and Mike Wilson’s Chatham County’s Fair award winning pumpkin patch!  Gotta love people that harvest and freeze beautiful veggies at peak season.  Thank you Beth and Mike and thank you Judy for baking the best non-chocolate cake i’ve ever tasted !  There’s more news .. but we have to get to getting .. so that’s it for now

Greek Style French Beans - lovely Melissa organic baby string beans cooked with Rocky River carrot, Piedmont Biofarm sweet potato, extra virgin live oil and a touch of tomato ($5)

Alan’s Excellent Macaroni and Cheese - I know it’s a gluten fest, but it’s delicious !  Today Alan used a rich cheddar cheese and Homeland Creamery whole milk.  ($5  for a side  $6.75 for a mini pan of your own)
