Already we’ve had several friends come by and wish us a great start to our next year. A beautiful and GENEROUS batch of fresh veggies from Jason and Haruka from their amazing greenhouse at Edible Earthscapes (including the tastiest swiss chard and mizuna flowers); Flowers, iron to keep me going and a very generous gift from Shelly P.; eggs and fowers from Kim C; an amazing greek goddess statue from Andrea and Nancy; a great sandwich board from Susan and Roxanne; the best buttons ever for a fundraiser from Hannah and Ginna – the generosity is overwhelming … the love keeps flowing in and we thank everyone !!

Greek Chicken Soup (Avgolemono) – our homemade chicken broth with orzo soup finished with fresh lemon juice and local eggs ($3)
Lentil Soup with Mizuna – a staple vegetarian soup (that greeks enjoy year round) this time spiked with mizuna just harvested by Jason and Haruka at Edible Earthscapes ($3)
Cream of Mushroom Soup – another Alan delicious decadent creamy soup, this time featuring mushrooms ($3)
Chicken Noodle Soup – Egg noodles with our homemade chicken broth, lots of chicken, Rocky River carrots and lots of other veggies ($3.50)
Green Chile Sliders – Smith Angus Farm ground beef – John’s secret green chile sauce, cheese upon request. These burgers are awesome! Served with a side of tater tots (we can all thank John for this “unique” addition to the menu) $5 for one burger $7.50 for two burgers
Green Chile Chicken Enchiladas -our homemade cheesy enchilada sauce smothered over tortilla wrapped chicken and baked till golden ($7.75)
Collards Greek Style – braised collards cooked with carrots and sweet potatoes with a touch of olive oil and tomato ($5)

Joan Thompson’s Really delicious Cookies!! - another fresh delivery of the best cookies – $0.65 ea 2 for $1 choices: choco chip, molasses, oatmeal raisin and peanut butter
Judy Hogan’s Addictive Cakes – this week Judy has baked up Pumpkin, Apple and Gingerbread Cakes! We use all Lindley Mill flours and eggs from Judy’s farm. Some of the best cake I’ve ever tasted! ($2 slice $8.75 whole cake)
