Today we are feeding RAFI and the Duke Endowment. wooowhooo!!! Gotta love the “small community” … RAFI supports our farmers, we buy from these farmers, we cook their food and feed the money people. Hopefully they love the food and give more money to our farmers. While we are on the topic of catering, everyone should know we gladly cater small and large parties and are happy to serve the greater RDU area. Let all your friends know : )

Moussaka – Piedmont Biofarm eggplant (Seeds of Change trial eggplants that Doug was kind enough to let me harvest with him yesterday), Smith Angus ground beef and a decadent bechamel sauce. ($8 with a small side salad)
Veggie Moussaka – a few servings left of our veggie moussaka with Bill Dow’s roasted cherry tomatoes and button mushrooms. ($8)
Braised Leeks and Carrots – Bill Dow’s end of season leeks, organic carrots, extra virgin olive oil and finished with a few tomatoes ($5)
Greek Chicken Soup – our homemade chicken broth and orzo soup finished with local eggs and fresh lemon juice. ($3)
Green Chile Beef Stew – local beef, local green chiles, veggies … fast becoming everyones favorite ($4)
Alan’s Curry Beef Veggie Soup – local beef, mixed veggies and lovely curry and cinnamon. ($3)
