One of our signature items featuring homemade chicken broth, plenty of chicken, local eggs and fresh lemon juice to create the traditional creamy soup with no dairy!  GF

6 Lentil Soup

Our version of lentil soup includes plenty of turmeric, carrots, garlic and onion (vegan and GF)

Chilled curried summer squash soup  **new**

beautiful Granite Springs Farm summer squash and Harris Family Farm squash cooked in homemade vegetarian broth with a touch of curry.  delicious as is or with a dollop of greek yogurt! (gf, vegan)

7 Chilled Melon Coconut milk soup with a jalapeno kick

beautiful selection of mixed melons from In Good  Heart Farm mixed with Caliburn Farm jalapeno and coconut milk.  A refreshing summer soup! (GF, vegan)


11 Greens Bake

Inspired by spanakopita filling – we use local seasonal field greens, local eggs and feta cheese  GF, Veg

6 Chicken Salad

Our take on chicken salad, Cliff’s meat market chicken, light mayo, cutting celery and grated carrots!

5 Tzatziki

Our thick greek yogurt, hand grated Edible Earthscapes cucumbers, chopped garlic and EVOO GF, Veg

4 Hummus

Made from scratch – our version is lemony and garlicy !  GF, V

Our falafel are made from scratch in house – tasty and GF to boot!  Delivered cold can be easily reheated in oven or toaster oven or pan.  the microwave works in a pinch

4 Screech Owl Burritos – refrigerated (available at Western Wake Farmers Market) it’s a good idea to pre order – these run out fast!

Enjoy this addictive burrito thanks to Screech Owl’s delicious roasted anaheims and poblanos!  The vegan version features pinto beans, Screech tomatoes, Screech roasted chiles and Chile Shack John’s magic seasonings touch.  The meat version features Smith Angus Farm ground beef, Screech Owl’s roasted chiles and some more delicious spice!

A layer of roasted eggplant from Redbud Organic Farm, a layer of Smith Angus farm ground beef seasoned with parsley, garlic, onions and fresh grated tomatoes and topped with a decadent layer of bechamel.  Available as 1 lb or 2.5 lb

9 OR 18 Sweet Potato Shepard’s Pie 

Our own recipe featuring a layer of local meats (ground beef, bits of brisket and shoulder roasts and hot sausage) topped with locally grown sweet potatoes mashed. Available as 1 lb or 2.5 lb GF  (white potato version available)

18 Kotopoulo kai bamies (chicken and okra) **new this week**

a traditional greek dish using Jeff Welch’s fresh okra, Webster Farm tomato and Cliff’s meat market chicken – a wonderful stewed dish – gf

18 Papoutsakia (eggplant slippers) **new this week**

fabulous eggplant from Redbud Organic Farm, Smith Angus farm ground beef and made from scratch bechamel.  We cut the eggplant in half, roast the eggplant, stuff with meat and top with bechamel and bake till golden.  Like your own personal moussaka  (GF available upon request)

In Good Heart Farm mixed squash, Redbud Organic farm eggplant, Wanda’s sweet potatoes, Webster Farm tomatoes, all mixed with olive oil, garlic and onions – a filling colorful vegan dish !
