One of our signature items featuring homemade chicken broth, plenty of chicken, local eggs and fresh lemon juice to create the traditional creamy soup with no dairy!  GF

6 Lentil Soup

Our version of lentil soup includes plenty of turmeric, carrots, garlic and onion (vegan, GF)

8 Green Chile Beef Stew

Screech Owl roasted anaheims and poblanos cooked in a nutrient full local beef bone broth, lots of Smith Angus Farm stew beef and veggies.  great as a rich soup or serve over rice for a full meal  GF

8 Tom Kha Gai Soup

A wonderful chicken and chicken broth from The Grange Farm, coconut milk, East Branch Ginger lemon grass, some grated turmeric and ginger root and crimini mushroom GF

5 Tzatziki

Our thick greek yogurt, hand grated cucumbers, chopped garlic and EVOO GF, Veg

Falafel   $6 for 1/2 dozen  $11 for dozen  *** PRE ORDER ONLY***

Our falafel are made from scratch in house – tasty and GF to boot!  Delivered cold can be easily reheated in oven or toaster oven or pan.  the microwave works in a pinch (vegan, GF)

6 Braised Veggie du jour

we’ll work with what we have from one of our wonderful farmers (vegan, gf)

11 Greens Bake

A wonderful mix of field greens including a tatsoi braising mix from Granite Springs Farm and adandelion greens and plenty of kale.

6 Chicken Salad

Our chicken salad is simply Cliff’s chicken, grated carrots, Screech Owl cutting celery and a touch of mayo.  🙂  (GF)

4 Screech Owl Burritos

Choose from bean or ground beef.  The bean version is pinto beans cooked with Screech Owl roasted green chile and Screech tomato!  The beef version is Smith Angus farm ground beef, roasted green chile and Screech tomato.


“Giant” white beans cooked with a touch of onion and garlic and Screech owl tomato and parsley and cutting celery.  An excellent greek vegan dish for lent 🙂

6 Taramosalata

A fabulous greek dip made with carp roe, stale bread and olive oil.  Another lenten staple.




9 or 18 Sweet Potato Shepard’s Pie

Enjoy this 95%local dish – made with Granite Springs Farm sweet potatoes, Smith Angus Farm ground beef and roasts, Katherine’s Garden hot sausage GF

7 Chicken Pot Pie

Our made from scratch chicken filling with Red Root Farm carrots, baby peas, rich chicken broth and plenty of chicken.  All topped with a puff pastry lid
