8  Avgolemono – greek chicken soup

One of our signature items featuring homemade chicken broth, plenty of chicken, local eggs and fresh lemon juice to create the traditional creamy soup with no dairy!  GF

6  Lentil Soup

Our version of lentil soup includes plenty of turmeric, carrots, garlic and onion (vegan, GF)

8 Green Chile Beef Stew

Our beef bone broth with a good amount of roasted green chiles, Smith Angu Farm stew beef, organic carrots and potatoes – a great soup for this time of year!

8 Mushroom Soup

A mix of mushrooms from Haw River Mushrooms and Woodfruit – plus coconut milk, a little local lemon grass – a great vegan, gf soup.

5  Tzatziki

Our thick greek yogurt, hand grated cucumbers, chopped garlic and EVOO GF, Veg

4  Hummus

Made from scratch – this week we are offering plain and roasted green chile hummus Vegan, GF

5 Xortopita (Field Greens Pie)

a wonderful mix of local greens including Four Oaks Farm mustard greens, Granite Springs Farm turnip greens, In Good Heart Farm chard and Ayrshire Farm leeks with a touch of feta and local eggs.  All wrapped in village filo dough – delicious!



9/18  Sweet Potato Shepard’s Pie

Our popular casserole – always perfect with a fresh salad.  the base is Smith Angus Farm ground beef and brisket and Katherine’s Garden hot sausage all topped with mashed sweet potatoes

9 Vegetarian Moussaka

a rich mushroom ragu featuring shitake and oyster mushrooms from Haw River Mushrooms farm on top of a bed of roasted eggplant all topped with a decadent bechamel.  A great vegetarian casserole.
