Happy Martin Luther King Day!  and welcome to our second Annual shop blessing.  Join us today around noon – 12.30p with Father James Berends of St. Barbara’s Greek Orthodox Church for a traditional blessing that dates back to ancient times.    Come enjoy the smells of local food cooking away and the beautiful smell of a rosemary smudge stick for the blessing.

Slow Roasted Pork Shoulder Pita Sandwich – our slow roasted Lilly Den Farm Pork served on a grilled pita with your choice of 3 toppings $7.75

Chile Shack John’s Uber Local Green Chile Cheeseburger Sliders! – Cohen Farm ground beef burgers served with roasted green chile and a slice of cheddar cheese on a Bread Shop beer batter roll.  $3.50 ea 2 for $6

RICE BOWL – our brown rice topped with your choice or any or all of the following: ($6.75 veg only $8 with meat)  all our rice toppings are gluten free

• Green Chile Beef Stew – Smith Angus Farm stew beef, Screech Owl hot green chiles, homemade beef broth, lots of veggies.
• Lentils – Lentils, turmeric, carrots and a good dose of garlic.  Add to any dish!
• Sensopai (Asian Collards) – A gorgeous collard green, we scored this sensopai from Piedmont Biofarm and cooked with a little Screech Owl tomato and Rocky River carrots … excpet for the olive oil this is a hometown dish woowhooo
• Slow Roasted Pork Roast – Lilly Den farm pork roast slow roasted with a touch of Screech Owl chiles

Green Chile Beef Stew – our green chile stew made using homemade beef broth, Screech Owl green chiles, Smith Angus stew beef and lots of veggies ($4.75)

Greek Chicken Soup (Avgolemono) – a fresh batch of our homemade chicken broth and orzo soup finished with fresh lemon juice and local eggs ($3.75)  Father James favorite : )

Amazing Apple Cake – Judy Hogan’s recipe, Okfuskee Farm grown and milled rye flour!, Olivia’s eggs, homeland creamery butter and a good dose of walnuts, currants, raisins and golden raisins – this is one of the healthiest delicious cakes around and chock full of Chatham County goodness!  $2.50 slice / $12 cake
