a beautiful morning in Chatham County and our kitchen is busy busy making up some fun finger food for a friend’s birthday.  This is a true locavore … and the food reflects it!  Yesterday I picked up bread from the awesome Abraham at Box Turtle Bakery.  Usually I find his breads at the Carrboro farmers market – but yesterday I got to go to his bakery in the back of his home.  His home is as cool as he is!  Tucked in a fabulous neighborhood called “Arcadia Cohousing”.  What makes Abraham so cool?  He uses grains grown by Murray Cohen at Cohen Farm and Bobby Tucker at Okfuskee farm and produces amazing bread with texture, aroma and excellent taste.  It’s worth getting off your duff and checking this baker out some Saturday morning at Carrboro Farmers market!
