this morning was spent with my friend Gretchen (the glass artist girl) making cute finger sandwiches for a wedding.  since my morning started super super early Chile Shack John has offered to cover the rest of the day for me here in the shop.  Not a bad trade : )  please come by and make sure John, Phil and Kane are all drinking enough water!

$5 SPECIAL – Cup of Lentil Soup with one spanakopita and one tyropita (spinach and cheese pies)

Pork Tacos! – corn tortillas lightly grilled and filled with slow roasted pork and salsa made with Screech owl (Evan) cilantro, Sunny Slope tomatoes and vidalia onions.  ask for a dollop of yogurt!  2 tacos = $7

RICE BOWL – our brown rice topped with your choice of any or all of the following   ($7 veg only $8 with meat)  All rice toppings are Gluten Free!

• Lentils – our signature made from scratch lentil soup made with extra grated carrots and lots of turmeric – good for your body and your taste buds!
• Maria’s “potato squash pea” dish – corolla potatoes from Forever green Farm, peas and tomato from Screech Owl and Caliburn Farm squash – fabulous hot or cold
• Slow Roasted Pork Shoulder – delish pork shoulder from Cliff’s – cooked with a touch of tomato and onion

Avgolemono (Greek Chicken Soup) – our homemade chicken broth with orzo and chicken, this soup is finished with local eggs and fresh lemon juice which gives it a creamy texture with no milk! $4
