It’s thursday – so that means it’s OCCUPY PITTSBORO FARMER’S MARKET day !  Plus fresh delivery to Johnny’s Gone Fishing in Carrboro !  Get your farm fix this evening in front of our shop from 5.30p – 7.30p – we’ll have Lilly Den Farm, Joan Thompson, Okfuskee Farm, Silk Hop Produce and Donniesbrook.  An excellent selection of fresh greens, meats, baked goods and jams – woowhooo!  Plus at Johnny’s Gone Fishing we’ve delivered fresh Sweet Potato Shepard’s Pie, Macaroni and Cheese, GF Ginger granola cups, Green chile beef stew, Avgolemono and much more!  Get out there and eat some of our local farmers’ foods.

Sweet Potato Shepard’s Pie – Cohen Farm ground beef, Lilly Den farm hot sausage, Wanda’s sweet potatoes and a touch of Homeland Creamery butter – what’s not to love about this uber local dish!  $8 add a side salad $3

RICE BOWL – our brown rice topped with your choice or any or all of the following: ($6.75 veg only $8 with meat)  all our rice toppings are gluten free

• Green Chile Beef Stew – Smith Angus Farm stew beef, Screech Owl hot green chiles, homemade beef broth, lots of veggies.
• Lentils – Lentils, turmeric, carrots and a good dose of garlic.  Add to any dish!
• Braised Cabbage – local cabbage cooked with olive oil, some Screech tomato and carrots
