Occupy Pittsboro Winter farmer’s market (with summer weather!) TONIGHT 5.30p- 7.30p  right outside out shop.  come meet some of the folks that work so hard to bring us local sustainable foods.

$5 SPECIAL – a cup lentil soup with 1 cheese pie and 1 spinach pie

Slow Roasted Pork Shoulder Pita Sandwich– Cliff’s pork shoulder roasted with John’s secret spice blend and Screech Owl tomatoes and chiles.  Served on a grilled pita bread with your choice of three toppings $7.75

Sweet Potato Shepard’s Pie – our own UBER local concoction … packed with Cohen farm ground beef and hot sausage, Cliff’s pork shoulder and Smith Angus brisket, a good dose of Bennett Farming carrots and topped with whipped mashed sweet potatoes from Wanda’s farm $8  add a side salad $3

RICE BOWL – our brown rice topped with your choice or any or all of the following: ($6.75 veg only $8 with meat)  all our rice toppings are gluten free

• Green Chile Beef Stew – Smith Angus Farm stew beef, Screech Owl hot green chiles, homemade beef broth, lots of veggies.
• Lentils – Lentils, turmeric, carrots and a good dose of garlic.  Add to any dish!
• Greens Bake – tis the season – fresh local spinach, swiss chard, parsley, kale all packed into this excellent veggie dish with a little ricotta, local eggs and a touch of feta
• Slow Roasted Pork Shoulder – Pork shoulder roasted with John’s spice blend, Screech owl tomatoes and a few chiles for good measure
