gooble gooble … Tucker called yesterday with a fresh HUGE turkey that needed a home (let’s be real .. we mean a really big oven!)  so of course we said yes and today the special is roasted Lilly Den farm turkey with the “fixins”.  Another reason to come by today?  it’s THURSDAY … and OCCUPY PBO Winter Farmer’s Market – right here in our parking lot from 5.30p – 7.30p.  kill two birds with one stone (tehehe)  meet some of our farmers, buy some food direct from the farmers and get your family dinner!

$5 SPECIAL – a cup lentil soup with one spinach pie and one cheese pie

Blue Plate Special – Lilly Den Farm turkey fresh from Tucker’s farm served up with two sides for an excellent meal! $9

PICK TWO SIDES: mashed sweet potatoes and GF gravy, string beans greek style with carrots and tomato, side salad or a cup of lentil soup.

Roasted Turkey Pita Sandwich– Lilly Den farm roasted turkey on a grilled pita bread with your choice of 3 toppings (my idea would be mashed sweet potatoes, lettuce and tomatoes!) $8

Cold Side Salad Special! – curried vegetable cous cous with asparagus, roasted red pepper and chick peas and plenty of turmeric for your body  $2.50 (with any meal $1.50) vegan

RICE BOWL – our brown rice topped with your choice or any or all of the following: ($6.75 veg only $8 with meat)  all our rice toppings are gluten free

• Green Chile Beef Stew – Smith Angus Farm stew beef, Screech Owl hot green chiles, homemade beef broth, lots of veggies.
• Lentils – Lentils, turmeric, carrots and a good dose of garlic.  Add to any dish!
• String Beans Greek Style – organic string beans cooked with olive oil, Screech tomatoes and carrots
• Lilly Den Farm Roasted Turkey – it smells like thanksgiving in here!  roasted turkey is great year round
