It’s Pi Day!   3.14 forever!   To celebrate we have every burner going and Maria and I are cooking up a storm!  Today we are introducing BH43 BBQ sauce by Bill Hall.  a vinegary peppery sauce with ketchup to bring it all together – an excellent blend between Texas and North Carolina sauces.

Blue Plate Special – Oink Oink …. two porks to choose from!  Choose Cliff’s pork shoulder smothered with Bill Hall’s BH43 BBQ sauce or Cohen Farm pork shoulder made our traditional way with Screech Owl tomatoes and chiles.  Then add two sides for a satisfying meal $9

RICE BOWL – our brown rice topped with your choice or any or all of the following: ($6.75 veg only $8 with meat)  all our rice toppings are gluten free

• Green Chile Beef Stew – Smith Angus Farm stew beef, Screech Owl hot green chiles, homemade beef broth, lots of veggies.
• Lentils – Lentils, turmeric, carrots and a good dose of garlic.  Add to any dish!
• Braised Cabbage – cabbage cooked with olive oil, Screech tomatoes and carrots
