every day is a little different in the kitchen – this is good for me for since I have a little (or alot) of ADD.  By using local seasonal ingredients we need to design different menus to reflect what our farmers have in the fields plus we get to transact with plenty of farmers – so much more stimulating than a simple call to a sales rep with a standard list of ingredients.  Then there’s the relationship we have with our community – so many wonderful people, each with something special.  Today we got a copy of a young student’s report about working in our kitchen for a day (part of the school program requires a day of “job shadowing”).  I’ve posted the report on our board – Seth had so many wonderful things to say about our shop and I am once again reminded that we do here does influence our community in a positive manner.  Come on by and read how our restaurant is seen through the eyes of a young teenager.
