beautiful summer squash (zucchini, patty pan, zephyr) cooked in homemade vegetarian broth with a touch of curry.  delicious as is or with a dollop of greek yogurt! (served in disposable 12 oz containers – no jar deposit)

Avgolemono – greek chicken soup

One of our signature items featuring homemade chicken broth, plenty of chicken, local eggs and fresh lemon juice to create the traditional creamy soup with no dairy!  GF

6 Lentil Soup

Our version of lentil soup includes plenty of turmeric, carrots, garlic and onion (vegan and GF)



11 Greens Bake

inspired by spanakopita filling – we use local seasonal field greens, local eggs and feta cheese  GF, Veg

6 Raw Kale salad

Caliburn Farm red russian kale cut into thin ribbons, dressed with fresh lemon juice, Busy Bee farm honey and roasted pumpkin seeds

6 Broccoli Salad **NEW**

Granite Springs farm broccoli dressed with a touch of mayo, Katherine’s Garden heirloom bacon, mozzarella cheese

5 Tzatziki

Our thick greek yogurt, hand grated cucumbers, chopped garlic and EVOO GF, Veg

4 Hummus

Made from scratch – our version is lemony and garlicy !  GF, V

5 Chicken Salad

Made in house simply with mayo, grated carrot and Screech Owl cutting celery – delish!  GF

Falafel   $6 for 1/2 dozen  $11 for dozen

Our falafel are made from scratch in house – tasty and GF to boot!  Delivered cold can be easily reheated in oven or toaster oven or pan.  the microwave works in a pinch

4 Screech Owl Burritos – refrigerated (available at Western Wake Farmers Market) it’s a good idea to pre order – these run out fast!

Enjoy this addictive burrito thanks to Screech Owl’s delicious roasted anaheims and poblanos!  The vegan version features pinto beans, Screech tomatoes, Screech roasted chiles and Chile Shack John’s magic seasonings touch.  The meat version features Smith Angus Farm ground beef, Screech Owl’s roasted chiles and some more delicious spice!


9 OR 18  Moussaka

Everyone’s favorite greek eggplant casserole.  A layer of roasted eggplant, a layer of local ground beef seasoned with parsley, garlic, onions and fresh grated tomatoes and topped with a decadent layer of bechamel.  Available as 1 lb or 2.5 lb

9 OR 18 Sweet Potato Shepard’s Pie 

Our own recipe featuring a layer of local meats (ground beef, bits of brisket and shoulder roasts and hot sausage) topped with locally grown sweet potatoes mashed. Available as 1 lb or 2.5 lb GF

15 Stuffed Cabbage – American Style

Beautiful napa cabbage from In Good Heart Farm stuffed with Smith Angus farm ground beef and rice mixed with veggies.  American Style is dressed with fresh tomato sauce made with Screech owl tomatoes and baked in the oven

15 Stuffed Screech Tomatoes and In Good Heart Farm zucchini (Yemista)

this classic greek dish vegan style – a lovely veggie rice mix with a good bit of greek extra virgin olive oil stuffed into tomatoes and zucchini then baked int he oven.  enjoy as is or with a dollop of greek yogurt or tztatziki!
