Another busy excellent morning in the kitchen!  Maria is busy making green chile chicken enchiladas and Chile Shack John and I are making green chile beef stew while Julie, a lovely photographer from the N&O, is taking pictures!  woowhooo … we’re getting on the map : )   Stay tuned and I will post links to the ultimate article

Green Chile Chicken Enchiladas  OLE ! – Today Maria has made her delicious enchiladas with a good dose of Screech Owl roasted green chiles (anaheims and poblanos) and smothered in monterey jack cheese.  $8 add a side salad $3

Slow Roasted Beef Chuck Pita Sandwich – Lilly Den farm beef chucks slow roasted with Screech tomatoes and Screech green chiles served on a grilled pita with your choice of 3 toppings $8

RICE BOWL – our brown rice topped with your choice or any or all of the following: ($6.75 veg only $8 with meat)  all our rice toppings are gluten free

• Green Chile Beef Stew – Smith Angus Farm stew beef, Screech Owl hot green chiles, homemade beef broth, lots of veggies.
• Lentils – Lentils, turmeric, carrots and a good dose of garlic.  Add to any dish!
• Greens Bake – all local winter greens including Piedmont Biofarm spinach and chard, Screech Owl parsley and Rocky River carrots tossed with some local eggs, a little feta and a dash of ricotta
• Slow Roasted Beef Chuck – Lilly Den Farm beef chuck slow roasted with Screech Tomatoes and a touch of Screech roasted green chiles

Amazing Apple Cake – Judy Hogan’s recipe, Okfuskee Farm grown and milled rye flour!, Olivia’s eggs, homeland creamery butter and a good dose of walnuts, currants, raisins and golden raisins – this is one of the healthiest delicious cakes around and chock full of Chatham County goodness!  $2.50 slice / $12 cake

Olive Oil Brownies! – dark chocolate, milk chocolate and olive oil – what’s not to luv? ($1.50)
