more summer specials hitting our menu!  Today a classic greek/turkish dish with a North Carolina twist.  Touroulou is a dish traditionally made with white potatoes, eggplant, tomato and whatever spices you like.  Of course we’ve pushed it up a notch and use sweet potatoes and a few spicy peppers.  It’s an awesome vegan dish that everyone can enjoy.

• Cohen Farm Pork Roasts – come enjoy the wonderful pork Murray and Esta provide from Cohen farm – roasted with a touch of tomato and onion and plenty of garlic
• Slow Roasted Beef Shoulder – Smith Angus Farm beef shoulder slow roasted with a touch of tomato and garlic
• Touroulou – one of our classic summer dishes 99% local and delish!  Wanda’s sweet potatoes, Harland Creek Farm eggplant, Sunny Slope tomatoes, Wanda’s onions, garlic, olive oil salt and pepper …. and you have a melt in your mouth rich fabulous vegan veggie dish – good hot or cold !  over rice of by itself
